Euch erwarten spannende Themen wie Postkolonialismus, Steuerpolitik, internationale Perspektiven und vieles mehr.
The EU elections are coming up and they concern us all❗ That’s why MÖVE is currently organizing a series of exciting events… on June 3rd-5th, workshops, panel discussions, talks and more will take place in HS 4/5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Exciting topics such as post-colonialism, fiscal policy, international perspectives and much more await you.

Was erwartet euch?
- International Panel Wir haben sechs Internationals eingeladen, die uns über Ihre Erfahrungen in Deutschland berichten werden. Moderiert wird das Panel von Prof. Dr. Johanna Breuer aus dem Institut für Politkwissenschaft.
- Post-Colonialism in the EU Stella Paaß hat gerade ihre Bachleor-Arbeit zu grünem Kolonialismus in der EU geschrieben. Ihre Forschung zeigt auf, inwiefern europäische Umwelt- und Klimapolitiken, negative Folgen für die inigenen Gemeinschaften haben können.
- Seebrücke (tbd.) setzt sich für solidarische und menschenrechtsbasierte Migrationspolitik ein. Sie werden euch die Probleme in der aktuellen Migrationspolitik schildern.
- Understanding European Institutions ist ein englischsprachiger Workshop organisiert von der europäischen Jugendorganision AEGEE. Hier lernt ihr die Funktionsweisen der europäischen Institutionen kennen.
- Financing the Transformation in the EU ist ein englischsprachiger Input von Carolina Ortega Guttak von Fiscal Future. Welche Investitionen werden in der EU benötigt? Wie können die Klimaziele erreicht werden? Erfahre was Geld- und Fiskalpolitik mit Klimaschutz zu tun hat!
- Introduction to Plural Economics Dieser Input kommt von Prof. Dr. Arne Heise, der an der Universität Hamburg zu Finanzwissenschaft und Public Governance forscht und lehrt. Er wird uns in die plurale Ökonmik einführen. Super für diejenigen, die sich für das Big Picture von MÖVE und dem Netzwerk für plurale Ökonomik e.V. interessieren.
- Let’s Move Unsere Abschlussveranstaltung im AStA WoZi wird unglaublich. Es wird Live-Musik von Leon Carlo und vom DJ-Duo Bass und Blech LIVE geben.
What can you expect?
- International Panel We have invited six internationals to talk to us about their experiences in Germany. The panel will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Johanna Breuer from the Institute of Political Science.
- Post-Colonialism in the EU Stella Paaß has just written her bachelor thesis on green colonialism in the EU. Her research shows how European environmental and climate policies can have negative consequences for indigenous communities.
- Seebrücke (tbd.) is committed to solidarity-based and human rights-based migration policies. They will tell you about the problems in current migration policy.
- Understanding European Institutions is an English-language workshop organized by the European youth organization AEGEE. Here you will learn how the European institutions work.
- Financing the Transformation in the EU is an input in English by Carolina Ortega Guttak from Fiscal Future. What investments are needed in the EU? How can the climate targets be achieved? Find out what monetary and fiscal policy has to do with climate protection!
- Introduction to Plural Economics This input comes from Prof. Dr. Arne Heise, who researches and teaches finance and public governance at the University of Hamburg. He will introduce us to plural economics. Great for those who are interested in the big picture of MÖVE and the Network for Pluralist Economics.
- Let’s Move Our final event in the AStA WoZi will be incredible. There will be live music from Leon Carlo and the DJ duo Bass und Blech LIVE.
